Setting and Ambiance:

• Beach massages are typically conducted in a serene and private area along the shoreline, often under a shaded cabana or a breezy beach hut.
• You’ll be surrounded by the sound of gentle ocean waves, the feel of warm sand beneath your feet, and the soothing sea breeze—all contributing to a relaxing and calming atmosphere.

Massage Therapist:

• A licensed and skilled massage therapist will perform the massage. They will be equipped with a portable massage table or a comfortable massage chair, depending on your preference.
• Before the massage begins, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your specific needs, any areas of tension or discomfort, and your desired pressure level with the therapist.

Massage Techniques:

• The massage therapist will use a variety of techniques to help you relax and alleviate any tension or soreness. These may include Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, or even a gentle and relaxing aromatherapy massage.

 

1. Bamboo Rafting on the Great River:

• Bamboo rafting is a leisurely and eco-friendly activity. You’ll typically board a bamboo raft, and a skilled raft captain will guide you down the Great River, which is known for its scenic beauty.
• As you float downstream, you’ll have the opportunity to soak in the lush tropical surroundings, including dense forests, vibrant flora, and possibly some wildlife.
• Your raft captain may share interesting insights about the river’s history, local culture, and the natural environment.
• The journey is peaceful and allows you to connect with nature while enjoying the gentle sway of the bamboo raft.

2. Limestone Massage:

• After your bamboo rafting adventure, you’ll transition to the limestone massage portion of the tour.
• Limestone massage involves the use of smooth limestone rocks that have been naturally shaped by the river’s currents. These rocks are heated and used in a massage therapy session.
• The heat and pressure of the rocks are applied to various parts of your body, creating a soothing and therapeutic experience. The combination of warmth and massage can help relieve muscle tension and promote relaxation.
• The setting for the limestone massage is typically in a serene and natural environment, such as a riverside spa or a tranquil outdoor space.

3. Duration: The duration of the tour can vary, but it generally takes 1 and a half hour to complete both the bamboo rafting and limestone massage experiences.

4. Scenic Views: Throughout the tour, you’ll be surrounded by the beauty of Jamaica’s landscape, with opportunities to take in the sights, sounds, and fresh air.

For tours (private and small group), cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to the tour date are eligible for a 100% refund or future travel credit. Cancellations made within 48 hours prior to the tour date are eligible for a 50% refund. All sales are final within 24 hours of the tour date thus tickets and reservation fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. In the event that you would like a tour to be rescheduled, this will need to be made within 48 hours before the original scheduled tour date.
